Cloud & Serverless
Architecture Consulting

PhD-qualified cloud researcher with 5+ years building production-grade serverless systems on AWS, Kubernetes, and OpenFaaS. I help teams design, audit, and optimise cloud infrastructure — with a particular focus on cost, SLA compliance, and intelligent autoscaling.

Based in Melbourne, Australia. Remote engagements welcome globally.

How It Works

1

Book & Pay

Choose a service tier, pick a time slot, and pay securely via Stripe at booking. You'll receive a confirmation and a pre-session form.

2

Share Context

Fill in the short intake form — your stack, goals, and what you need. This lets me prepare and make the session as useful as possible.

3

Consult

We meet over video. I bring domain expertise; you bring your architecture. We work through the problem together and agree on a path forward.

4

Receive Deliverables

Notes, recommendations, or a formal written report — depending on the service tier — delivered within 48 hours of the session.

Common Questions

What cloud platforms do you work with?

Primarily AWS (Lambda, EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) and Kubernetes-based platforms including OpenFaaS and Kubeless on both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. I also have experience with GCP and OpenStack from research deployments.

Do you work with startups or only enterprise clients?

Both. Discovery calls and architecture reviews are well-suited to startups and early-stage teams who need expert direction without a long retainer. Hands-on engagements work for teams of any size. Pricing is transparent and fixed-scope for the first two tiers.

Can you help with AWS cost reduction specifically?

Yes — this is a core research focus. My published work has demonstrated 57–87% cost savings on serverless workloads through input-aware memory right-sizing, and 1.84× overall cost reduction through intelligent scheduling. I apply the same principles to client infrastructure in the Architecture Review engagement.

Are sessions remote or in-person?

All sessions are remote by default (Google Meet or Zoom). In-person sessions can be arranged within Melbourne for an additional travel surcharge. International clients are welcome — sessions are scheduled in AEST with flexibility for European and US time zones.

What is your refund policy?

Full refund if cancelled more than 24 hours before the session. 50% refund for cancellations within 24 hours. No refund for no-shows. Rescheduling is available up to 12 hours before the session at no charge.
